Overall, the prince found himself pleased to have friends visiting over the kingdom, especially Fang and Squall, being that it has been quite some time since they really last hung around…if at all. With the way the course of his duties had taken upon him and even his husband, easygoing days were hard to come by. So naturally Fang’s proposal to do something together, to unwind, was embraced with eagerness. He largely thought of Noel, as he really would rather for the other to be around more often and have more connections with other people. To his understanding, Fang and Noel were already good friends, but it didn’t hurt to continue grabbing every opportunity there was to simply have fun and mingle with others.
Standing already outside of the entrance of the amusement park, his eyes watches for the other couple. Noctis veers up at the sky, glad to see the sky bright and cloudless before glancing over to his beloved’s view, nudging him lightly. “They should be here any minute, Noel.”
It was an interesting offer she had made. An amusement park was the last place he would have imagined himself spending a day at. Their ideas of ‘fun’ differed greatly, as it did from most others. But it couldn’t hurt to try it out at least, right? She would have given him hell for saying no regardless. Besides, no one said he necessarily had to participate in riding the roller coasters. Perhaps he’d get by with only riding one or two and staying behind for the rest. Though that was yet to be determined.
Even still, it would be nice to spend the day with Fang, as well as their friends. Too long had it been since they’d seen Noctis and Noel last. They had all become busy with whatever duties they needed to attend to. The distance between them wasn’t a great help either. So they were all in dire need of a vacation of sorts. Now was as good a time as any.
It didn’t take too long to reach their destination, thankfully. Upon stepping out of the vehicle, he noted how warm it was outside. Luckily, he’d made sure to dress a little more casually for this occasion, ditching his usual leather fur-collared jacket for a simple t-shirt. Better to not risk over heating. He grabbed the essentials from the car and began heading in the direction of the entrance, urging Fang to come along. It was a short walk to the entrance—and from the looks of it, their friends had already arrived before them.
"Hey. Long time no see," came his greeting as they approached the pair.
